Faculty Activity and Reporting (FAR)
The Faculty Activity and Reporting (FAR) module captures faculty activity information from various data sources on campus. It will compile various pieces of information such as courses taught, grants, publications and other scholarly productivity, number of students advised, committee service, and course evaluations, if and when we decide how to use them.
Faculty do not have to enter these data, but will only need to review and edit. Faculty will be able to add any missing information if they wish.
The data shared on the platform by faculty will allow the University to report on the professional activity of faculty in the areas of teaching, scholarship, and service in a highly efficient manner, helping Loyola broadcast the numerous successes of its faculty.
Faculty can search easily for colleagues conducting scholarship of similar interest, and depending on information faculty enter, teaching interests, pedagogical methods, etc. can also be searched.
