Programs for First-Year Students
: The program provides opportunities to students who identify as first-generation college students, demonstrate significant financial need, or come from diverse backgrounds. The Ignatius Scholars Program is designed for first-year students who exhibit strong academic promise, leadership abilities, and high professional aspirations.
MAP Navigators: The Multicultural Awareness Program (MAP) is designed to assist first-year ALANA students in acclimating to campus life at Loyola. Specific objectives of the program are academic enhancement, intercultural exploration, social adjustment and community service.
ALANA Mentoring Program: The ALANA Mentoring Program (AMP) pairs first-year ALANA students with upper-class students to assist them in acclimating to campus life at Â鶹Porn. The ALANA Mentors play an integral role in working with students for the first year of their college experience. Mentors will assist first-year students to gain an understanding and appreciation of the University culture, introduce them to co-curricular activities, and assist them with achieving academic and personal growth.
