Caring for Our Common Home
At Â鶹Porn, sustainability translates to Caring for Our Common Home. As a Jesuit, Catholic liberal arts university, we are guided by this fourth Universal
Apostolic Preference, acknowledging the importance of caring for our planet for our
current and future generations.
The Office of Sustainability works collaboratively with all campus departments to
reduce the university’s environmental impact, strengthen ecological resilience, and
advance a culture of sustainability rooted in justice and equity on campus and within
the broader community.

Our Climate Action Plan aims for Net Zero Carbon Emissions by 2045 with a more immediate goal of reducing Scope 1 and 2 Emissions by 60% by 2031. We aim to serve as a leader in climate resiliency.
